Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) is one of the most premier institutions set up by the Government of India in the year 1927. It provides services related to renewable energy and the resources associated with water and power.

The CBIP faced a lot of issues with the registration of the participants and registration fee acceptance for various events. All these kinds of things were done manually, which led to a lot of issues.

The organization also faced issues with the movement cycle of inventory because the real-time information about the inventory and its count was not available.

The expiry dates of the inventory were the biggest issue faced by the organization, and this also posed to be the reason for the biggest loss of the organization.

Planet PCI offered the CBIP with a web-based portal that helped them in development for events and also developed a store inventory management-based system. This web-based application was delivered and designed with the primary objective to control the inventory-related issues because now the real-time information about every item of the stock was available.

The system also was now capable of providing an update about the expiry dates of the items.
Another advantage of the system was it also helped in reducing the risk of time and cost associated with the task of managing the inventory.
